Primary Responsibilities
Job Title: Electrician
Type of Assignment: Permanent
Position Type: Full Time - 40 Hours
Hours of Work: (Monday-Friday), 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Location: Various Field Locations (As Assigned)
Salary: $25/hr

Primary Responsibilities
- Repairs, installs, replaces and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances.
- Uses hand tools and testing instruments.
- Inspects and tests electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
- Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors and other electrical equipment using testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, testing lamp.
- Replaces faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems.
- Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures.
- Mounts motors, transformers and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications.
- Able to install electrical conduit and wires. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Inspects completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codes.
- Able to read a ruler and count money
- Able to clean and follow directions
- Able to get to work on your own
- Prompt and non-confrontational
- Excellent hygiene
- Have your own tools (minimum list will be provided)
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to lift at least 75 pounds
- Minimum five years of experience in construction, service or related field
- inside journeyman wireman electrician or the equivalent and proof of such
- Current Driver’s license
- Proof of experience
- High school Diploma or GED
- Current picture i.d.
