Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage customer orders and updates (phone, email, EDI)
- Communicate with customers to confirm details and resolve issues
- Coordinate shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries (domestic & international)
- Prepare and review Bills of Lading (BOL) and shipping documents
- Verify order accuracy (PO numbers, quantities, addresses)
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints to resolution
- Assist with invoicing, credits/debits, and general office support
- Cross-train in reception, light HR, and accounting tasks
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of customer service or clerical experience
- Experience with shipping/logistics and BOLs preferred
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Basic Microsoft Word & Excel skills
- Professional communication and phone skills
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and work independently
