This Tree work and Landscaping Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to help support and round out our team. We have been serving the community of Lake County, Illinois for many years and have done so by taking pride in the services we provide for our customers. We offer an extensive range of tree and landscaping services for our customers and are known for our experience and excellence of service. We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to assist in our mission of customer service excellence. As a Customer Service representative, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service for our clients by interfacing with customers by phone and email and scheduling estimates and crews for site visits.
Responsibilities:
-Provide professional and polite inbound/outbound customer service by either phone or email for general inquiries, questions, or issues.
-Act as a key point of contact with customers, by promoting customer relationships.
-Maintain and edit contracts with Customers and Management to ensure accuracy and follow through on agreed terms.
-Manage calendars and schedule appointments for estimates and any further work.
-Book client appointments and coordinate with crews and customers for site visits.
-Manage Ad hoc projects as they come up
Skills:
-High School Diploma or Equivalency
-Applicants must have strong customer service experience, have a good work ethic and be detail oriented
-Minimum 1 year experience in customer service and client interface
-Excellent organizational skills and self driven
-Ability to apply sound judgement and decision-making skills in dealing with a variety of issues
-Strong and pleasant phone contact handling skills with the ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
-Experience in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office (including outlook) and social media management
-Knowledge of tree work desired but not required
We offer competitive pay based on experience. This job will require 30-40 hours per week and will be a remote position initially, but will require in-person office work within six months.
