QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Pay: $20.00 to $25.00 

Shift: Monday through Friday - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Location:  Franklin Park, IL 

Type: Temp to Hire

SUMMARY:

The Quality Control Technician will ensure all systems that leave the clients facility are fully functional and meet all quality requirements.

ACCOUNTABLE for: 

• Conducting quality control testing on our client’s electrical and hydrodynamic systems as required, ensuring compliance with QC protocols and collaborating with the Quality Lead for necessary adjustments.
• IInspecting and diagnosing returned components and systems from customers including warranty inspections and parts for possible repairs.
• Inspecting incoming items upon arrival to ensure they meet our drawings and quality standards.
• Occasionally performing on-site inspections or troubleshooting as needed.
• Providing light technical assistance to fabricators including mechanical assembly.
• Performing all job functions using safe practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education / Work Experience: Extensive technical knowledge of electrical and hydrodynamic systems, with at least 1-3 years of related work experience.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
• Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice, throughout the United States and internationally if necessary. (0-10% travel)
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends.
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•  Reliable transportation and availability to work required schedule.
