What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operators position at Just In Time Staffing LLC?
Full-Time, Monday–Friday,
Shift Hours: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM 2nd shift 2:00 PM-10:00 PM 3rd shift 10:00 PM-6:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Operate automated packaging equipment, including HMC, GEA, TNA and
TOYO baggers, and Tri Seal carton forming/closing equipment.
- Operate and monitor Multipound, Ohlson and Yamato weighing systems to
- maintain accurate product weights and reduce giveaway.
- Perform machine startups, shutdowns, film roll changes, and basic
- adjustments as trained and authorized.
- Monitor equipment speeds and production performance to maintain
- required rates and minimize downtime.
- Clear jams, troubleshoot basic equipment problems, and communicate
- maintenance needs promptly.
- Complete quality and food safety checks, including weights, seals, nitrogen
- levels and date/lot codes.
- Use Redzone for production checks and downtime reporting; scan materials
- and inventory in Neology.
- Follow GMP, sanitation and safety procedures; maintain a clean and
- organized work area. Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to do the following constantly (8 hrs) a day:
- Stand, bend, climb, twist (neck and waist), repetitive use of hand (power
- grasping), pushing/pulling, reaching above/below shoulder level.
