Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Child Care Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage all operations of the center, focus on creating safe, nurturing, and educational environment by supervising staff developing curriculum, handling budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance state/federal and building strong relationships with parents. You must have 1 to 2 years of Director experience, computer skills, Microsoft, word, fax, scan, email, etc.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, schedule, evaluate, an provide professional development for teachers and support staff.
- Oversee daily operations, ensure facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety, and and manage compliance with licensing regulations.
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls using phone systems.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively to ensure optimal office flow.
- Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring confidentiality and organization.
- Handle inquiries, provide information about services, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and managing office supplies.
- Support office management tasks to ensure a smooth operational environment.
Requirements
- Have a genuine love for children.
- Previous experience as a Child Care Director role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer support skills with a focus on providing excellent service.
- Proficient in computer systems with strong computer literacy; familiarity with office management software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
