About the Role
- The Construction Safety Manager will take ownership of all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management activities on site, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and project-specific safety standards.
- This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving a proactive safety culture across all levels of the project, from senior management to subcontracted workforce teams.
- Key focus areas include working at height, crane and lifting operations, temporary works, multi-trade coordination, and high-risk activity control within a vertically phased construction environment.
- The role requires strong site presence, decisive leadership, and the ability to manage safety performance across a complex, multi-level construction programme.
About the Candidate
- The ideal candidate will be an experienced construction safety professional with a strong background in large-scale building projects, preferably high-rise or complex urban developments.
- You will bring a proven track record of managing site safety in high-risk environments, with strong knowledge of construction regulations, risk management systems, and contractor control.
- You should be confident operating in a fast-moving project environment, able to influence behaviours on site, and comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
