Construction QA/QC Manager – Federal Project – Temporary Assignment
Location: Norfolk, Virginia
Schedule: 40 hours per week | On-site

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to support a federal construction project in the Norfolk area.
This opportunity suits a quality professional with federal project experience who holds either a Professional Engineer (PE) license or an Architect license.
The role
You will oversee construction quality on site, ensuring work meets project specifications, approved drawings and applicable requirements. Working closely with the project team and subcontractors, you will identify quality issues, coordinate corrective actions and maintain accurate quality records.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and implement the project’s quality control plan.
- Coordinate inspections, testing and quality checks across construction activities.
- Review drawings, specifications and submittals for compliance.
- Monitor subcontractor workmanship and resolve nonconforming work.
- Maintain inspection reports, testing records and corrective-action logs.
- Liaise with project management, subcontractors and government representatives.
- Support punch-list inspections, closeout documentation and project handover.
Essential requirements
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license OR an Architect license.
- **Level III quality experience
