What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loss Prevention Supervisor – Retail Electronics –Sawgrass Mills position at Jurney & Associates Inc.?
- Lead loss prevention at a busy retail electronics store. You’ll stop losses, run investigations and build a team that performs, backed by a Florida security agency that has been doing this since 1976.
What you’ll do
- Supervise and coach the loss prevention team, setting clear expectations and following up with corrective action when needed
- Monitor live CCTV and review recorded footage to identify theft and support investigations
- Conduct internal investigations into employee theft, fraud and policy violations
- Write clear, detailed incident and investigation reports that hold up to review
- Partner with store management on shrink trends and prevention plans
- Respond calmly to incidents on the sales floor and de-escalate conflicts
- Patrol the sales floor, stockroom and entrances during your shift; the role involves standing and walking for most of the shift
Requirements
- Retail loss prevention experience, including time in a supervisory or lead role
- Hands-on experience with CCTV: live monitoring, footage review and using video as evidence
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Available for retail hours, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Florida Class D license [CONFIRM], or the ability to obtain one before starting
- Reliable transportation to West Palm Beach
Nice to have
- Loss prevention experience in retail electronics
- Internal investigation or interview experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish [CONFIRM if this store needs it]
