Key Responsibilities
- Perform general plant maintenance and equipment repairs.
- Must be able to weld/fabricate as needed.
- Complete daily preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
- Troubleshoot and replace screens, conveyor belts, and system components.
- Use hand and power tools, including cutting, grinding, and impact tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow company safety policies.
- Assist with mobile and stationary equipment operation when needed.
Core Skills and Competencies
- Mechanical Aptitude: Familiarity with belts, pulleys, bearings, and industrial equipment.
- Problem Solving: Ability to assess and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Thorough inspections and documentation of maintenance tasks.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with team members and supervisors.
- Physical Endurance: Capable of lifting 50 lbs, working in all weather conditions, and climbing ladders and stairs over 24 feet.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proven work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Previous experience in aggregate, limestone, or heavy industrial environments is a plus.
