We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Machine/CNC Operator to support our precision manufacturing operations.In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines and other shop equipment to produce high-quality components used in our architectural lighting systems. You will work closely with the CNC lead, production team, and quality team to ensure parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and to Junipers high craftsmanship standards.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on fabrication work, precision machining, and contributing to a collaborative manufacturing environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.Essential ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines and shop equipment, including milling machines, lathes, grinders, and sandersRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate productionAdjust machine settings and tooling to meet required specifications and production timelinesInspect machined parts using precision measurement tools to ensure quality standards are metTroubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance when necessaryCollaborate with the CNC lead and production team to maintain efficient workflow and production outputMaintain accurate machining logs and production documentationFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S principlesPreferred Qualifications14 years of experience operating CNC machines or similar manufacturing equipmentExperience working with milling machines, lathes, grinders, and fabrication toolsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and machining specificationsFamiliarity with precision measurement tools and machining processesStrong mechanical aptitude and interest in fabrication or machiningExcellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workAbility to work both independently and as part of a production teamThe BenefitsAt Juniper, we are committed to employee growth, development, and well-being.
