Duties
- Assist with daily plant care routines including watering, trimming, transplanting, and harvesting to promote healthy growth.
- Monitor plant health by identifying pests, diseases, and deficiencies through visual inspection and plant identification skills.
- Support indoor grow operations by managing ventilation, temperature controls, and lighting systems to create ideal growing conditions.
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on cultivation equipment and infrastructure.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment within the cultivation area, promoting efficient workflows.
- Assist with record keeping related to plant growth stages, treatments applied, and environmental conditions using basic math for data tracking.
Requirements
- Prior experience in growing plants or working within horticulture, farming, or landscaping environments is preferred but not a requirement.
- Basic math skills for measuring soil amendments or adjusting environmental controls accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting irrigation or climate control systems as needed.
