BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR:
This critical position is a relationship builder who provides the community with opportunities to impact local students. As part of a collaborative team environment, this role generates financial and volunteer resources to further the Junior Achievement mission focused on career readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. This is a full-time, regional fundraising position with competitive wages, benefits, and bonus potential. Great for candidates looking to enter the non-profit industry. This individual can be located in the Waterloo or Cedar Rapids area.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
- Collaborate with Regional Director to identify prospective donors to drive new business development and engagement throughout the region.
- Support annual fundraising events by renewing sponsor partnerships.
- Manage annual donor campaign.
- Steward existing donors.
- Develop and execute on new fund development strategies.
- Utilize donor database to track prospect development.
- Work with Development Director in editing and reviewing grant proposals.
- Visible at regional networking events.
- Work within and maintain budget goals.
- Assist with annual special events and other funding proposals, as needed.
- Support the Education Team with volunteer referrals.
