The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the client and caregiver relationship and ultimately helps provide a “best in home care” experience for clients and care staff.
- Plays the integral role in interfacing with caregiver staff in ensuring the proper caregiver and client match. Ensures that all referrals are received in an accurate, detailed manner and are properly handled.
- Performs various supervisory activities for scheduling appropriate caregivers to clients; shift confirmation; and monitoring of telephony system and other payroll responsibilities as needed. Performs other office coordination duties.
- Maintains a positive demeanor at all times and is able to effectively multitask in a high-functioning office environment.
- The ideal candidate has prior experience working in health care or medical office setting.
- Ability to problem-solve, stay calm and professional under pressure, multi-task and stay focused.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree with business experience, preferably in scheduling and managing people.
- Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
- Be available for on-call duty outside of normal office hours rotating weekends every five weeks.
- Be a team player and coordinate tasks with other office staff.
- Be available to work 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
