Position Summary Information
Key Responsibilities
Juniata College invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty to teach one or more courses in statistics or quantitative methods for business beginning in the Fall 2026 semester. Courses are at that undergraduate level. Applicants are encouraged to indicate which course(s) they are qualified and interested in teaching.
The undergraduate courses are taught on Juniata’s campus in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.

Primary Responsibilities
- Teach in a face-to-face classroom setting.
- Prepare course materials, syllabi, assignments, and assessments consistent with departmental learning outcomes.
- Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely feedback on assignments.
- Submit final grades and fulfill other instructional responsibilities in accordance with College policies.
- Work collaboratively with department faculty to ensure course quality and consistency.

Position Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated ability to teach business courses effectively at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Supervision Required/Given
This position reports to the Accounting, Business, and Economics Department Chair.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate (Ph.D., DBA, JD, or other appropriate terminal degree) in a related field.
- Professional experience in business.
- Prior college teaching experience in both traditional classroom.
- Experience using a learning management system (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard).
