About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Manager with direct experience in warehouse automation and electric material handling equipment—specifically electric forklift trucks, lift trucks, or similar industrial vehicles.
This is not a software product role. We need someone who understands physical products, industrial equipment, and electrified vehicle systems and can drive product strategy, lifecycle management, and market success across North America.
You’ll own and support the end-to-end product lifecycle for electric forklift trucks and related energy solutions, working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, service, and global product teams.
What You’ll Do
- Own product management activities for electric forklift trucks and warehouse automation equipment in the North American market
- Drive product lifecycle management from concept through launch, optimization, and end-of-life
- Define and refine product requirements, positioning, and roadmaps aligned with global strategy
- Partner with engineering on product development, integration, and performance improvements
- Lead market, customer, and competitor analysis within warehouse automation and material handling
- Support go-to-market strategy, including sales enablement, training, and product positioning
- Collaborate with service and operations teams to ensure product reliability, usability, and field performance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (ANSI, OSHA, etc.)
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and commercial stakeholders
What We’re Looking For (Must-Have)
- Product management experience in physical/industrial products (not software)
- Direct experience with:
- Electric forklift trucks, lift trucks, AGVs, or warehouse automation vehicles
- Strong understanding of:
- Material handling equipment (MHE)
- Electrified systems (battery, charging, or power systems)
- Experience working across hardware product lifecycle (design → launch → field support)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and commercial teams
Nice to Have
- Background in battery systems, lithium-ion, or energy solutions
- Experience with automated warehouse systems or robotics (AGVs/AMRs)
- Exposure to global product organizations or matrixed environments
- Familiarity with industrial standards and compliance frameworks
