Role Description The Summer Camp Director is a part-time, on-site role based in Pittsburgh, PA, responsible for overseeing daily camp operations and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for all participants. This role includes planning and organizing camp schedules, sports activities, and special events, as well as supervising camp staff and volunteers. The Director will lead daily staff meetings, provide on-the-spot coaching and feedback, and ensure that all programs align with Jump Start Sports’ standards for youth development and character education. Duties include communicating regularly with parents and guardians, handling questions or concerns, and providing exceptional customer service. The Summer Camp Director is also responsible for maintaining safety protocols, managing equipment and supplies, and completing basic administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and incident reports.
