Nike Kids Camp powered by i9 Sports is a multi-sport camp designed to help children ages 5–12 develop athletic fundamentals while having fun in a positive, inclusive environment. Through a variety of sports, games, and activities, campers build agility, balance, coordination, speed, teamwork, communication, and confidence.

Our programming is inspired by Nike's "How to Coach Kids" and "How to Coach Girls" initiatives, focusing on creating meaningful experiences that help kids develop a lifelong love of sports.

Positions AvailableCamp Director

The Camp Director is responsible for overseeing daily camp operations, managing staff, ensuring camper safety, and delivering a high-quality camp experience for all participants.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support camp counselors and coaching staff.
• Manage daily camp schedules and activity transitions.
• Ensure all camp activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with parents regarding camper needs and camp updates.
• Handle attendance, incident reporting, and camp administration.
• Foster a positive, welcoming environment for campers and families.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for camp operations.
• Lead by example and uphold the values of i9 Sports and Nike Kids Camps.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing youth programs, camps, sports leagues, or recreational activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with children ages 5–12.
• Ability to supervise staff and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Camp Counselor

Camp Counselors play a vital role in creating a fun, engaging, and safe camp experience. Counselors assist with daily activities, lead games, support skill development, and ensure every camper feels included and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in camp games, drills, and activities.
• Supervise campers throughout the day.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of camp activities.
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior.
• Help facilitate Nike-specific games focused on communication, movement, problem-solving, and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe environment and promptly address camper needs.
• Serve as a positive role model for campers.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and actively participate in camp activities.
• Passion for youth development, sports, and recreation.

Daily Camp Schedule

Monday–Thursday

• 8:45–9:00 AM: Camper Drop-Off
• 9:05–9:20 AM: Stretching, Warm-Ups & Sportsmanship Talk
• 9:20–10:00 AM: Nike-Specific Games (Communication, Movement, Problem Solving, Teamwork)
• 10:00–10:15 AM: Water & Snack Break
• 10:15–11:05 AM: Daily Sport Skills & Drills
• 11:10 AM–12:00 PM: Daily Sport-Specific Games
• 12:00–12:30 PM: Lunch
• 12:30–1:00 PM: Rules Trivia & Group Games
• 1:00–1:50 PM: Skill & Drill Stations
• 1:50–2:20 PM: Scrimmage
• 2:25–2:50 PM: Nike-Specific Games (Communication, Movement, Problem Solving, Teamwork)
• 3:00 PM: Camper Pick-Up

Friday

• Half-Day Camp
• Camper Pick-Up at 12:00 PM

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
