Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and take accurate orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met with flair
• Process sales transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and maximize sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Manage cash handling accurately and process payments swiftly while providing excellent guest relations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including inventory checks and setup of service stations
• Engage with guests to promote specials, answer questions about menu items such as wine or spirits knowledge, and create memorable moments

Skills

• Proven experience in food service roles within fine dining or nightlife environments; nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest loyalty
• Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills
• Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience with OpenTable or reservation management systems is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hospitality setting

Pay: $7.25 per hour
