What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Unit Manager (Registered Nurse) position at Julians Heart?
We are seeking an experienced and lively Unit Manager with LONG-TERM CARE EXPERIENCE to join our team!
**Must have 1-YEAR of UNIT MANAGER experience**
You will be responsible for:
• Evaluating nurse and medical staff performance
• Maintaining and restoring the health of their patients
• Managing daily treatment schedules
• Enforcing health and safety regulations
• Solving staffing issues and shortages
• Evaluating and adjusting treatment plans based on patient condition
• Ensuring their unit meets federal, state, and company guidelines
• Completing admission and discharge forms
• Delivering hands-on care and medication administration as needed
• Communicating procedural issues with the director and working to correct them
• Acting as a liaison between patients' families and healthcare staff
Qualifications:
- 1-YEAR AS A UNIT MANAGER
- 3-YEARS LONG-TERM CARE
- PCC EXPERIENCE
- Ability to build rapport with RESIDENTS, FACILITY STAFF, AND FAMILIES
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
