Role Description This full-time, on-site Legal Assistant role is located in Red Bank, NJ. The Legal Assistant will support attorneys with day-to-day case management, including preparing and organizing legal documents, maintaining case files, and managing calendars and deadlines. Responsibilities include drafting correspondence and basic pleadings, coordinating client communications, scheduling meetings, hearings, and mediations, and assisting with document discovery and trial preparation. The role also involves managing incoming calls and emails, handling filing (both electronic and paper), and working with court systems and related agencies to ensure timely submissions. The Legal Assistant will collaborate closely with the legal team to support a compassionate, client-centered practice while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including document management, calendar coordination, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal support tasks such as drafting basic pleadings, letters, and forms, and preparing files for hearings and conferences.
