Job Summary
Job Summary
JCS Pine Hills Academy TK-6 is currently seeking to fill a Paraprofessional Instructional Support (Transitional Kindergarten/Early Childhood) position for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a part-time position of up to 28 hours per week. A minimum of 48 college units or a paraprofessional certificate is required. The Paraprofessional Instructional Support (TK/Early Childhood) position supports young learners through developmentally appropriate instructional, behavioral, and social-emotional practices. The selected candidate will work closely with the classroom teacher to facilitate learning, support student engagement, assist with classroom routines, and help create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment. The Paraprofessional is expected to grow professionally, utilize best practices in early childhood education, positively impact student learning and development, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the school community. This non-exempt classified position is responsible for performing essential duties within the program and providing support to students and staff in a variety of instructional and supervisory capacities. We require a letter of introduction; One(1) letter of recommendation; proof of unofficial transcripts or Paraprofessional Certificate; a resume; current TB test (negative results, dated within 6 months of application); current CPR certification (or certify upon hire).
