Job Summary
Job Summary
JCS-Mountain Oaks is seeking a full time 100% FTE Academy Teacher to support our middle school students for the 2026-27 school year. Our program adheres to a hybrid model with homestudy days every Friday. We have favorable student- teacher ratios, and a close school community with active and involved parents. JCS Mountain Oaks is a community of compassionate, innovative, life-long learners who continually strive for excellence. Our aim is to promote an academically rigorous curriculum that values the different interests, learning styles, and abilities of each student. We utilize the California GATE standards as our main vehicle of instruction. - 3-5 years experience preferred - GATE instructional experience preferred
Requirements / Qualifications
This position requires a current CA Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential. If you do not currently hold an appropriate California credential at the time of your application, your application will not be considered.
In addition to a resume and letter of introduction, we require three letters of recommendation, a current negative TB test, current CPR certification, and copies of all college transcripts to be uploaded at the time of application.
