Job Description
Julia's 1902 (julias1902.com) is a fine restaurant, located in a restored 20,000 square foot country estate a few blocks from downtown Willoughby, Ohio.
We opened in April of 2024 and continue to seek long-term servers.
The Restaurant is non-tipping and staff are paid a living wage with benefits. We are hiring and training in order to provide world-class hospitality. We are looking for responsible, honest, caring, team members who can learn and grow together. We will consider full or part-time availability.
Team members will sometimes have multiple responsibilities. These might include serving, hosting, Inn leadership, events management, and more.
Skills
- Experience in the food industry, preferably in fine dining (minimum 1-2 years)
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations
- Excellent guest relations and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of cash handling and basic accounting
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
