What You'll Do
- Manage the prepress team to ensure customer proofs are accurate, timely, and meet high-quality standards.
- Oversee prepress workflows and ensure production deadlines are consistently met.
- Review and prepare customer files for digital, offset, foiling, and letterpress printing.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues and maintain production quality.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of growth and consistency.
- Communicate with customers as needed to clarify file specifications or proofing details.
- Stay updated on industry standards and integrate new prepress and printing technologies.
- Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
- Strong background in prepress and printing production with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital, offset, foiling, and letterpress printing techniques.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced production environment.
- Proficient in Mac and related software.
- Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong typing skills with speed and accuracy.
- Educational background in graphic design or a related field.
- Experience with high-volume online printing companies.
- Familiarity with color management and proofing systems.
