Prepress Manager

Job Description

Premier sheetfed offset and digital printing company in central VA is searching to hire an experienced Prepress Manager due to an upcoming retirement.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and supervise prepress staff.
• Oversee production workflow, scheduling and staffing to ensure jobs are completed on time and on budget meeting and or exceeding client specifications.
• Review and approve jobs before moving to the next stage.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operating efficiently.
• Hire, train, and evaluate team members.
• Support cross-department communication and customer satisfaction.
• Stay current on technology, methods, and optimal procedures.
  
  

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 5 - 7 years' prepress management experience.
• 5 years of desktop publishing experience; proficient on Adobe Suite.
• Working knowledge of Metrix, Prinergy, and Pitstop preferred.
• Strong knowledge of prepress and printing processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience.
• Ability to thrive under deadlines and prioritize effectively.
  
  

Starting base salary $77,000 - $90,000 benefits, profit sharing and relocation assistance.
