Job Summary
Jukebox is looking for a dependable, passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our growing kitchen team. What You’ll Do
- Prepare and portion ingredients using proper knife skills and food preparation techniques.*
- Cook menu items according to Jukebox recipes, presentation standards, and ticket times.*
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.*
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper food storage, labeling, and temperature controls.*
- Assist with daily prep to ensure the kitchen is ready for service.*
- Communicate effectively with the Chef, Expo, and fellow cooks during service.*
- Ensure every plate leaving the kitchen meets Jukebox’s standards for quality and presentation.*
- Help receive, rotate, and organize inventory using FIFO practices.*
- Assist with cleaning duties at the beginning and end of each shift.*
- Support the kitchen team wherever needed to keep service running smoothly.*
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen preferred.*
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling.*
- Experience working grill, sauté, fryer, or prep stations is a plus.*
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.*
- Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy service periods.*
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.*
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.*
