What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the development, updating, and presentation of comprehensive financial plans, ensuring alignment with investment strategies and market conditions.
- Partner closely with investment teams to integrate asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management into client plans.
- Identify gaps and opportunities within existing plans, proactively enhancing strategies to reflect evolving client needs and market dynamics.
- Build and deepen client relationships through ongoing engagement, education, and proactive communication.
- Translate complex investment concepts into clear, actionable planning recommendations.
- Advise clients across key planning areas, including cash flow, tax strategy, estate considerations, and risk management.
- Collaborate on advanced planning scenarios, including concentrated positions, liquidity events, and multi-generational wealth strategies.
- Represent the firm at client events and industry or community initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of financial planning experience within an investment firm, wealth management firm, or RIA.
- Experience working with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
- CFP® designation required (or active pursuit with a clear completion timeline).
- Strong understanding of investment principles, portfolio construction, and asset allocation.
- Tax planning experience, particularly in HNW contexts, is highly valued.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make complex financial and investment concepts accessible.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with financial planning and portfolio management software preferred.
