Job Title: Intake Support/Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary
Intake Support and Enrollment Specialist duties include assisting with patient intake support, patient engagement and coordination of care with internal and external providers for the behavioral health program.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide initial contact to Individuals seeking Behavioral Health and Primary Care Services
- Support the Integrated Care Intake Department
- Enrollment Individuals seeking services in Integrated Care Services
- Assist patients in completion of intake and annual program documentation.
- Complete coordination of care activities and documentation with patient primary care providers, psychiatric care providers and clinicians.
- Interact and communicate directly with consumers either by telephone, electronically, or face to face to remind them of upcoming appointments and assist with scheduling missed appointments.
- Complete data entry accurately in multiple electronic health records
- Upload documents obtained by program staff
- Complete all mandatory trainings, as required by contract and Judson Center
- Attends all scheduled meetings, including individual and program meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well with a medical office team in a fast paced setting
- Understanding of behavioral health and substance use disorders helpful
- Data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency and timeliness
- Strong PC Software and Web skills: MS Word, Adobe, Excel, Outlook, and web based tools.
- Strong ability to use the English language properly in written and oral communication.
- Ability to comply with all applicable licensing rules, accreditation standards, code of ethics, insurance reimbursement rules, and Judson Center’s policies and procedures.
- Medical office experience preferred.
Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- To perform this job successfully an individual should have a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of previous experience in the health care industry and doing data entry. Experience with behavioral health and substance use programs are preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License, appropriate insurance and use of own vehicle.

- Job responsibilities will be performed within an office environment.
- To perform this job successfully an individual must have the ability to work in a sitting position at a computer for up to 8 hours per day.
