Job Title: Structural / Design Engineer (Contract)
Pay: $59/hr. on W2
Location: Merritt Island, FL (On-site)
Duration: 6 Months

About the Role:
We are seeking a contract Structural/Design Engineer to support the rapid design and deployment of temporary structures. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality, fabrication-ready design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with stakeholders to gather and define structural and functional requirements
Translate requirements into detailed, vendor-ready design and fabrication packages
Ensure designs meet applicable safety standards, building codes, and site conditions
Coordinate with vendors during fabrication to address RFIs and design clarifications
Implement engineering changes and revisions efficiently in a dynamic environment
Maintain accurate, revision-controlled drawing sets and documentation
Support design reviews and resolve technical issues during field execution
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
3 years of relevant engineering experience (structural, civil, or mechanical)
Experience creating fabrication-ready design packages for external vendors
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements
Proficiency in CAD or other relevant design tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with temporary or modular structures (e.g., tent systems)
- Knowledge of anchorage systems, foundations, and environmental load considerations
- Familiarity with designing for temporary installations and field conditions
Work Environment**
On-site role in Merritt Island, FL
