Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior IT Project Leader
Work location: Hybrid
Duration: 6 months (with the potential of extending)
Primary Function
The Senior IT Project Leader is self-motivated, highly organized, and responsible for managing all
aspects of assigned project(s). The Senior IT Project is a single point of contact for all assigned
project related information, including the identification of stakeholders, evaluation of project the
management approach, and working with Information Technology and Business teams to formulate a
viable plan to solve project objectives. The project planning includes present the business options
that support 'work-around solutions', purchased solutions, technical internal or external development,
or combinations of all three.
The Senior IT Project Leader creates and manages certain Project Management Life Cycle, Product
Development Life Cycle, and System Development Life Cycle artifacts such as the Business Case,
Statement of Work, Work Plans (schedules), Risk Logs, Meeting Minutes, Testing Schedules,
Implementation Schedules, Change Logs, Lessons Learned, and accurately communicates project
status, as needed.
Additionally, the Senior IT Project Leader works with resource managers to ensure proper
assignment and resolves conflicts to support AgFirst's project priorities and actively provides
leadership needed to meet the business objectives of the project.

The Senior IT Project Leader provides the leadership to aggressively drive the completion of project
business objectives. Without direct resource authority, the Senior IT Project Leader uses leadership
and influence to generate results by facilitating and documenting project meetings, decisions, and
leadership to resolve project conflicts. The Senior IT Project Leader displays sound judgment by
using business and project management experience. As needed, the Senior IT Project Leader
directly communicates with Senior Management, stakeholders, and various leadership committees.
