Description: Our client is currently seeking a Cyber Security Analyst

Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Austin, TX (On-site)

Duration: 12 Months (Contract to Extend)

Who we are looking for:

Candidate Experience & Skillset

• Minimum Experience: 3 Years (5 preferred) in Cybersecurity tools and risk reduction.
• Technical Stack: Installation and troubleshooting of security tools, firewalls, and antivirus software.
• Project Management: 3 years creating project charters, managing risk, and handling resource allocation.
• Documentation: Experience editing technical literature, status reports, and stakeholder presentations.
• Soft Skills: Must be comfortable with research, interviews, and workshops to identify security gaps.

Core Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot hardware/software for security tools.
• Monitor network traffic and server logs for unusual activity or cyber-attacks.
• Apply the latest security patches and develop network security strategies.
• Review existing Cybersecurity controls to determine gaps and provide recommendations.
• Interact with internal/external stakeholders to resolve complex security problems.
