Quality Manager – Nebraska

This position will oversee 20 quality engineers and techs and reports into the Plant Manager.
Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead plant‑wide quality strategy, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement across all manufacturing operations. This leader will oversee quality engineering, inspection, customer quality, supplier quality, and corrective action processes to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead quality strategy and plant‑level quality initiatives
- Oversee QMS compliance, audits, and ISO 9001 requirements
- Manage customer quality issues and corrective actions
- Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma)
- Lead quality engineering, inspection, and supplier quality activities
- Track and report quality KPIs (PPM, FPY, scrap, capability)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related field
- 5 years of manufacturing quality experience
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA
- Leadership experience in continuous improvement
- ASQ certifications or Six Sigma preferred
Salary : $130,000 - $145,000
