Title: Project Engineer
Location: Starkville, MS
Salary: $100,000-$120,000
Responsibilities
- Lead capital improvement projects from planning through startup and handoff.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, and plant personnel to ensure successful execution.
- Oversee equipment installations, process upgrades, and facility modifications.
- Track project milestones, costs, and risks while implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare documentation for project approvals and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture and verify adherence to environmental and engineering standards.
- Support commissioning activities to ensure operational and performance objectives are achieved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
- 2 years of project management experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial operations.
- Knowledge of plant processes, maintenance practices, and capital project execution.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
- Proven commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
