What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at Judge Direct Placement?
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Manager for their manufacturing facility in Southeast Georgia, just over an hour away from Savannah.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead maintenance processes to ensure on-time production and delivery
- Participate in lean/continuous improvement projects
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of 40 employees in a high volume manufacturing facility
- Selects and trains employees to produce at standard-and-above efficiency
- Coach, train and develop direct reports
- Establish and implement preventive maintenance systems
- Manage spare part Inventory processes
- Collaborate with Engineering with new equipment installation
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5 years of Management experience in a high-volume food or beverage manufacturing environment
- Solid PLC troubleshooting experience
- Strong Project management experience
- Excellent strategic and growth mindset!
- Proficient with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Some ammonia refrigeration knowledge is preferred
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
