Logistics Supervisor

One of our best clients is searching for a Logistics/routing Supervisor for their facility located just outside of Plant City, Florida. They are an industry leading beverage distribution company and have tremendous growth potential. They are seeking an experienced Logistics Router to lead operations in a high-volume, fast-paced Direct Store Distribution (DSD) environment. This role is responsible for routing and dispatching, while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity standards. Company will provide relocation for qualified candidates!!

The Logistics Router will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing delivery routes while balancing customer service requirements, driver productivity, fleet utilization, and transportation costs

.Key Responsibilitie

• sCreate and optimize daily delivery routes using Omnitracs Routing and Dispatch software
• .Analyze route performance and make adjustments to maximize delivery efficiency and reduce transportation costs
• .Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, sales, and customer service teams to ensure timely product delivery
• .Monitor route execution and proactively address delivery issues, service disruptions, and customer concerns
• .Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety requirements
• .Maintain accurate routing data, customer delivery schedules, and transportation records
• .Support driver dispatch activities and communicate route changes as needed
• .Evaluate delivery territories and recommend improvements to route structure and fleet utilization
• .Generate and analyze routing reports, KPIs, and performance metrics
• .Assist with seasonal planning, special deliveries, and volume fluctuations

.Required Qualification

• sHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field preferred
• .1 years of hands-on experience using Omnitracs routing and dispatch software
• .Strong understanding of route optimization, delivery scheduling, and transportation operations
• .Experience working with delivery drivers, dispatch teams, and warehouse operations
• .Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• .Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

.Preferred Qualification

• sExperience with fleet management and transportation management systems (TMS)
• .Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and transportation compliance requirements
• .Experience analyzing logistics KPIs and implementing process improvements
• .Background in beverage, foodservice, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or other DSD industrie
