We're seeking an EHS Specialist to help drive a strong safety culture in our manufacturing facility. This hands-on role works closely with employees, supervisors, and leadership to maintain a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong presence on the production floor
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with PPE, LOTO, contractor safety, and environmental requirements
- Investigate incidents and support corrective actions
- Deliver safety training and employee engagement initiatives
- Support waste management, emergency response, and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required. AS or BS degree preferred.
- 3 years of overall manufacturing or industrial experience if no degree
- Degree related to EHS is preferred
- Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Must be flexible throughout the year for paid overtime on projects/training
