Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate the cash register and POS system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Perform retail math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and discounts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards is essential.
