Qualified candidates will have expertise standing up Windows Terminal Services/Remote Desktop Services. Position Description:
JTEC Consulting is seeking a Senior VMware Administrator/VDI Administrator to work in support of a DoD customer for an existing Enterprise Resource Planning - Common Services (ERP-CS) environment. Qualified candidates will have expertise standing up Windows Terminal Services/Remote Desktop Services. This position requires experience working with VDI design, build, and administration and hands-on experience integrating CyberArk technologies with VMware VDI.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Work as part of a collaborative team supporting corrective and preventive operations activities for ERP-CS infrastructure and services
- Support program phases providing operations support for existing ERP-CS infrastructure and services, transition to Cloud One, and sustainment of services in Cloud One
- Provide technical support to multiple engineering teams working across a variety of software and hardware product
- Occasional travel may be required
Education and qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship; no dual citizenship
- Current Secret security clearance; Top Secret preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred; additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Current CompTIA Security or equivalent
- 7 years of related VMware and Windows System Administration experience including:
- 5-7 years of establishing and maintaining Windows Terminal Services/Remote Desktop Services
- 3-5 years of VDI build and administration experience preferably in a DoD or DISA environment
- Experience using VMware VDI tools
- Experience maintaining Citrix or Microsoft Windows or VMware Virtualization Administration, and various software and server support
- Experience with CyberArk technologies including, but not limited to:
- CyberArk integration with VMware VDI
- CyberArk for VDI System Administration
- Credential management
- Monitoring access to secure infrastructure
- Provisioning and Discovery
- Initiating connections
- Managing admin credentials/securing admin accounts
Preferred experience:
- Experience working with Atlassian Suite tools such as Jira or Confluence is a plus
- Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus
- Experience working with hosting solutions for private and/or public cloud technologies is a plus
