Position Description

JTEC Consulting is hiring a mid-senior level SailPoint/Java Developer with Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management (ICAM) expertise to join our growing team. This Developer will provide hands-on development support to an Army program ensuring sound practices for access control and detecting vulnerabilities as part of modernizing the program's cybersecurity framework.

Qualified candidates must have experience implementing IAM solutions using the SailPoint IIQ platform. Recent and relevant hands-on developer work experience focused on both SailPoint and Java is a must. An active security clearance is required for consideration. A current CompTIA Security certification is required to start work.

Role And Responsibilities Include

• Work as part of a collaborative engineering team offering technical solutions, troubleshooting, and resolutions to enhance Army capabilities supporting system security.
• Support business requirements and configuring SailPoint solutions for seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
• Serve a key role in application onboarding, enhancing security measures, managing user access, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Integration and API Development: Develop custom integrations with various applications, directories, and systems using APIs and connectors provided by SailPoint. Ensure data synchronization and establish seamless communication between different platforms.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure the IAM solutions adhere to security best practices and comply with relevant regulatory standards. Implement access control policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and other security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configurations, and integration details. Prepare reports on system performance, access governance, and compliance-related metrics.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, security, and compliance, to ensure alignment with organizational policies and standards.
• Work closely with project managers and team leads to meet delivery requirements.

Requirements Include

• U.S. citizenship
• Current Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree required; Studies in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred
• Equivalent years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Current certification to meet DOD 8570 IAT Level II compliance (Security , CISSP, or equivalent) is required to start work
• 6 years of related development experience implementing and supporting IAM/ICAM solutions
• Proficiency in Java development
• 1 years of recent experience implementing enterprise Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions including:
• Experience with IGA using SailPoint Identity IQ (Sailpoint IIQ) and/or SailPoint IdentityNow
• Experience developing program documentation and reports
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to work with a blended government and contractor team
• Ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience
• Availability to work on-site at Ft Belvoir or Kingstowne offices, as requested
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Saviynt Security Manager (SSM) or Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC) is preferred
• Experience with IBM Security Verify Governance is preferred
