Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) FOOD SERVICE WORKER LEADER ~ without more than normal supervision. Skilled in performing a variety of duties incident to the maintenance, cleanliness, and decoration of the work area. Wash dishes, pots, and pans, either manually or by use of mechanical equipment; disassemble, clean and reassemble dish washing machine after use. Setting up dining room for service; remove used utensils and dishes to dish washing area. Unloading supply trucks and placing supplies in proper storage areas; delivering supplies to various workstation areas under supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who reviews my work for completion. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

- Physical Effort: Work involves constant walking and standing. Employee must bend and stoop in loading trays on delivery carts. Frequently lifts up to 60 pounds, i.e., cases of food and milk.
- Working Conditions: Work is performed predominantly in noisy kitchen and dining room areas; involves continuous standing and walking, mainly on concrete floors. Incumbent is subject to injuries from equipment used; exposed to dirt, grease, and water in cleaning tasks. Incumbent is subject to extremes of temperature in bringing supplies from walk-in refrigerators. There is danger of slipping on floors that are wet from daily mopping or where food or beverage has been dropped.
