Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: utilizing automated financial management systems to analyze financial accounts and/or transactions; and assisting and/or preparing routine financial accounting reports; and applying financial/budgeting policies and regulations to conduct financial oversight, budget formulation and/or execution; and performing analysis of financial data to monitor budget and accounting performance for corrective action. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
