We are seeking an experienced and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up concrete forms according to project specifications.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Smooth out surfaces with trowels, floats, and other finishing tools to achieve desired textures.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Collaborate with other construction workers and tradespeople to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform minor repairs on concrete surfaces as needed.
Requirements
- 2 years of proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in construction.
- Familiarity with masonry work and the use of concrete pumping equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to concrete finishing.
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers and/or excavators is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately for project execution.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Additional qualifications such as certifications in concrete finishing or related fields are a plus.
