JST is seeking a skilled Automated Assembly Maintenance Technician to support our second shift operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated assembly equipment to ensure safe, efficient production and consistent product quality.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair automated assembly equipment (mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems)

Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule

Complete production changeovers

Conduct pre-production equipment checks

Inspect and approve first-piece samples

Use calibrated measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)

Enter maintenance data into CMMS system

Report equipment issues to the Assembly Maintenance Supervisor

Support production during relief periods when needed

Maintain a clean and safe work area (5S standards)
Qualifications:
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Trade school or technical certification in automation, mechatronics, or related field preferred

Minimum 2 years experience in automated manufacturing maintenance

Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

Experience with sensors, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies preferred

Ability to read measuring devices and perform English/metric conversions

Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
