Job Description: We are hiring a senior engineer to join our multifaceted technology team. This role operates at the intersection of application development, automation, and operational ownership. It is closer to a startup-style generalist engineering role than a narrowly defined enterprise specialization. You will spend most of your time authoring reusable tooling, modernizing legacy systems, and establishing patterns that scale across multiple application teams. You will work on a small, senior team with high ownership.

What You Will Bring

Judgment to operate with minimal oversight on complex builds with excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

10 years of hands-on engineering experience authoring automation, libraries, or platform tooling that other engineers consumed. Portfolio, repositories, or specific authored systems you can speak to in depth during interview.

Demonstrated authorship of code through CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions strongly preferred; Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI acceptable) and modern SDLC practice.

Fluency in at least one general-purpose language (PowerShell strongly preferred, Python acceptable) at the level of authoring maintainable, scalable modules and libraries.

Demonstrated history of refactoring or replacing legacy systems, not solely operating them.

Working fluency with enterprise observability (Splunk, Dynatrace, Azure Log Analytics) for the purpose of instrumenting systems you build.

Comfort participating in incident management, RCA, and operational rotations as a shared team baseline — sufficient to contribute, not as the center of the role.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience working within Agile on engineering deliverables.

Strong application development experience in Azure will be given high consideration.

Knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
