Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing work environment.
- Manage food preparation and food safety standards, ensuring all dishes meet quality expectations and comply with health regulations.
- Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, minimizing waste, and coordinating with suppliers for timely replenishments.
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in both casual dining and fine dining settings.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management, including supervising teams in quick service or fine dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as TOAST
- Expertise in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety practices across various culinary settings.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, team development, and interviewing potential team members.
- Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Familiarity with managing hospitality teams in diverse environments such as hotels or catering services is a plus.
