Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX/UI design projects from discovery through development handoff
- Conduct user research and create artifacts such as personas, journey maps, and research findings
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows based on business and user needs
- Perform usability testing and validate design decisions with stakeholders
- Translate design concepts into functional front-end solutions
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation
- Analyze data and user feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Maintain project documentation using tools like Jira, SharePoint, etc.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 / 2.1)
- Stay updated with latest UX/UI and web design trends
- Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap
- Design Tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure RP
- Collaboration Tools: Mural, Lucidchart, MS Visio
- Development Tools: Visual Studio
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
- Minimum 4 years of experience in UX/UI design
- Minimum 4 years of experience in user research and usability testing
- Hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision
- Strong knowledge of Human-Centered Design principles
- Experience designing applications compliant with WCAG accessibility standards
- Experience working in public sector or education-related projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment
