JSM Airport Services, LLC is seeking a professional, skilled Recruiter. This is a career-track opportunity, and we are looking for individuals ready to commit to a long-term professional future with our company, with an expected commitment of at least 1 year. The Recruiter is responsible for prospective employee recruitment in positions serving all areas of the organization. This will be achieved through the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The recruiter plays a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.

- Annual Salary: Starting at $60,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; however, occasional changes in the work schedule may occur, based on operational needs at any of our locations.

Job Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Demonstrate your ability to manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting and candidate attraction to offer negotiation and onboarding
Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Highlight proficiency with ATS software and ability to use it to manage the candidate pipeline
Candidate Engagement
- Ability to build rapport with candidates, provide a positive experience, and maintain strong relationships
Sourcing and Attracting Talent
- Determining staffing needs
- Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
- Organizing job fairs and traveling to support job fairs and site operations start-ups (open houses)
- Using various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, networking (colleges, employment agencies), and referrals
- Building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline
- Working with staffing agencies, establishing need, initial meeting(s), and reviewing contracts
Job Posting and Management:
- Writing and posting engaging job postings that accurately reflect the role and company culture
- Ensuring job postings are optimized for visibility and reach
Candidate Screening and Selection:
- Reviewing resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
- Conducting initial phone screenings and interviews
- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs and requirements
Offer Negotiation and Onboarding:
- Negotiating salary and benefits packages with successful candidates
- Managing drug screening, background, and reference checks
- Ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires
Relationship Management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders
- Providing regular updates and feedback to candidates, hiring managers and site administrators
- Making presentations and maintaining rapport
Data Management
- Tracking and managing candidate information in a recruitment system
- Analyzing recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
- Safety and compliance training as required
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field: A bachelor's degree is often preferred, but experience can also be a strong substitute
- Minimum 2 years’ experience recruiting/interviewing in the services industry, preference to technical services
- 2-4 years of exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in a full employee life-cycle environment, including recruitment support of multiple and/or remote office
- Knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices
- Must reside within 1 hour of the top 50 US airports
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build rapport and trust
- Strong computer skills, including a proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint) and electronic applicant tracking software
- Phone, TEAMS, Zoom, and/or other online meeting platform skills
- Experience with On-Line Job Board Sites such as Indeed, Zip Recruiter

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
Additional Requirements:
The employee must be able to successfully pass a drug screening, a driver’s license check and validation, a ten (10) year Criminal History Records Check (CHRC), may require federal fingerprinting and security threat assessment as well as airport security badging.
Continued employment is subject to all the above requirements on an ongoing basis; failure of passing any of the above requirements may result in immediate termination.
