What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Maintenance Mechanic position at JSK Recruiting, Inc?
Oak Lawn, IL (On-site)
1st shift
Compensation: $50.00 to $65.00 per hour (Based on skills and experience)
About the Role
This is not a clean room job, and it is not a corporate environment. A fast-growing, mission-driven food processing facility on Chicago's south side is looking for a skilled and hands-on Sr Maintenance Mechanic to join a small but mighty maintenance team supporting a 3-shift operation.
If you are someone who takes pride in being the person who keeps things running, thrives in a physical and fast-changing environment, and wants to be part of something with real purpose behind it, this is worth a serious look.
Be prepared: this is an industrial environment. There are odors, no air conditioning, and the work is physical and dirty. Candidates who thrive here take pride in that and do not shy away from it.
About the Company
The facility sits on a 9-acre campus with a 30,000 square foot building and is currently in the middle of a major capacity expansion. The culture is entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and open to lean thinking, 5S, kaizen, and anyone who wants to make things better. The organization is mission-focused on sustainability, job creation, and healthy communities. This is real environmental impact at an industrial scale and the team behind it is just getting started.
