Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and rebuild high-speed packaging and processing equipment across a large multi-line operation
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on packaging lines, scales, sealers, and associated equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues quickly and independently to minimize downtime
- Rebuild and refurbish machinery to like-new condition as part of planned and unplanned maintenance
- Mentor and train junior maintenance technicians, sharing technical knowledge and best practices
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks and document work accurately in RedZone CMMS
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and work cross-functionally with operations and engineering
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications, AAS degree, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
- 5 years of maintenance experience in a high-speed food packaging, co-packing, or food manufacturing environment is required
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills required; must be able to diagnose and resolve electrical issues on production equipment without full electrician credentials
- Hands-on experience maintaining and rebuilding packaging machinery including baggers, horizontal form-fill-seal, sealers, and related equipment
- Familiarity with packaging equipment preferred; ideally with Hayssens, Bosch, and scale systems such as TNA, Multipond, or Yamato is a plus
- CMMS experience preferred; RedZone is a plus
- Ability and willingness to train and mentor junior technicians
- Self-sufficient, technically strong, and able to take on the most complex maintenance challenges on the floor
- $40.00 to $55.00 per hour based on experience and skill level
